What do I actually get?
PDF ebooks. You pay, the download link appears immediately and also arrives by email.
Nothing ships, nothing is printed for you.
What paper size?
US Letter, 8.5 × 11 in. They print on A4 too — set your printer to “fit to page” and you'll lose a few
millimetres of margin, nothing else.
Do I need a color printer?
No. Everything meant to be colored is black line art on white. The only pages that use color are the
covers, and you don't need to print those.
Can I print it more than once?
Yes — as many times as you like, for the children in your own home. Print a page again when it gets
ruined; that's the point of a printable.
Will it work on an iPad?
The files open in any PDF app, and the coloring pages work in apps that let you draw on a PDF.
The fillable ones (invitations, awards, name tags) need a PDF reader that supports form fields.
Ages and content
Is it too scary for little ones?
Little Spooks (ages 3–5) has no fangs, no blood, no jump scares — round shapes, thick lines and eight
friendly characters. The older ebooks get more intricate, not more frightening. The murder mystery is
the one exception: it's written for 13 and up.
My 10-year-old says coloring books are babyish.
That's exactly why Brave Explorers exists: mandalas, stained glass and zentangle patterns, closer to an
adult coloring book than to a kids' one.
Are the pages really all different?
We compared every page against every other page across all fourteen files. 2,035 pages of content,
11 of them deliberately repeated (the mini-books appear in two ebooks), so 2,024 unique pages.
That's why we don't write “2,000+”.
School, groups, license
Can I use these with my class?
The Classroom Party Edition includes a classroom and group license: print it for every child in your
class, every year, including scouts, churches, libraries and clubs. The other ebooks are licensed for
one family.
Our school does a “fall party”, not Halloween.
Inside the Classroom Party Edition there are three pages that turn it into a fall/harvest party,
including 30 fall picture-bingo cards and autumn award certificates. It's not a separate Halloween-free
edition, and we won't pretend it is.
Can I sell what I print, or the files?
No. You can print and use them; you can't resell the pages, the files, or products made from them.
The license is one short page.
Money
What if a page is broken?
Tell us which ebook and which page: we correct the file — usually within 24 hours — and send you the
new version free. If it can't be corrected, we refund you. Either way the window is 14 days from the
day you bought it.
Why is there a launch price?
Because the shop just opened and there are no reviews yet — the discount is our side of that.
It ends on the date written in the bar at the top of the page, and on that date the prices go back up.
We don't run a timer that restarts when you come back.
Do I need an account?
No. You buy, you download, you print. We keep your email to send the files and the receipt.
